Overview

CHEXRAY is one of the analytical facilities at the College of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley.  CHEXRAY provides single-crystal X-ray structure determinations for researchers at the College, the general campus community and outside source.  It also provides training in crystallographic tehcniques and allows students and faculty users to perform their own crystallographic analyses.

The CHEXRAY facility is associated with the Advanced Light Source and has access to the Chemical Crystallography Beamline(Beamline 11.3.1) on a scheduled basis.
The current 11.3.1 beamline schedule with respect to the Chemistry Department can be found posted on the door to the lab and here.

The X-ray course, Chem208, is offered in the Spring Semester.

The latest update to the Cambridge Structure database has been installed (January, 2007).
